The FOX Racing Shox Mountain Team spent last winter in the rugged terrain of Colorado with the world-famous, freestyle extraordinaire Chris Burandt and his crew at Burandt’s Backcountry Adventure developing and tuning the kit.
Over 18,500 miles of high elevation rough terrain was covered to ensure that this kit would meet Burandt’s demands. The FOX team tuned over the course of the season working with Chris’ feedback until he felt it was just right.

The Chris Burandt Backcountry Kit will turn your Arctic Cat M series sled into a mogul soaking, trail taming machine. In addition to the added plush feel on the trail, our special valving will help get your sled on top of the snow with its improved weight transfer characteristics.
