XRRA ROCK RACING SERIES FINAL / CORTEZ, COLORADO

Denver, CO. (August 4, 2008) - The finale of the 2008 XRRA Series Rock Racing Championship was a battle of the nation's top rock racing teams and coming out on top was the FOX Racing Shox single-seat rock racer driven by Aaron Dusenbery.

Dusenbery arrived to the final race of the 2008 XRRA Series in Cortez, Colorado focused on capturing the 2008 XRRA Series Championship. Leading by a mere 5 points in the championship standings, he was determined to fight for the victory and in the end he fought off charges from the best rock racers in the world to take the impressive series championship victory.

The XRRA race course at Cortez, Colorado was designed to be a lightning fast race course with several long steep rocky climbs that ultimately turned out to be no match for the Thorton, Colorado hotshot driver.

Racing four courses along with the final shootout in the single-day event tested man and machine to the fullest extent. The Carnage Crew race vehicle is a single-seat rock racing buggy featuring the latest from FOX Racing Shox Off Road Division. The race car is equipped with FOX's 2.0 Air Shox that has been tuned by FOX Racing Shox factory-support personnel.

"The FOX Racing Shox Air Shox suspension has been an incredible all season long and it was dialed in this past weekend as I pushed the car beyond its limits in search of the season championship. The car sucked up all the big bumps and allowed me to blast up the face of these rocks like no other," explained champion, Aaron Dusenbery.

After the first two races of the season series, Dusenbery jumped into the points lead as the nation's top racers positioned themselves for the ultimate title. Dusenbery strategized his own race each weekend never looking back at the competition.

"Winning the championship is pretty damn cool," said Dusenbery.

"We've been at this game for many years and we've come close a few times, but to actually claim the series as champions makes all that hard work worth it. We are in the midst of building a new two-seat race car designed specifically for rock racing versus rock crawling. We've made due with our single-seat car for the past couple years, but as this season gained momentum we just kept working hard each and every time we were on the race course and that strategy paid off.

Coming into this final race we knew the championship was on the line.

But with the highly competitive racers like Shannon Campbell and many other of the FOX sponsored racers, we knew we had to fight to the end. In fact, even though we're competitors on the race course, Shannon Campbell has been one of our biggest supporters. We wouldn't be here without the great support we have received from all of our race team partners.

Our new car is coming along and we'll be testing in 8-weeks and preparing for next season," commented 2008 XRRA Champion - Aaron Dusenbery.
