GOOD RESULTS SILKWAY RALLY 2009
Starting in Kazan, (Russia) and finishing in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) this rally has a total distance of 4500 kilometres, the competitors will be timed on 3200 kilometres of specials. A total of 20 truck did start the SilkWay Rally 2009, another rally of the Dakar Series. After 9 stages, Ales Loprais with his team, did finish in 3rd position overall with winning one daily stage. The other good result came from Yakov Mekhtiev with the MAN which finished 8th overall, being the first in the production category T4.1.Both, Loprais Tatra Team as well as Team MAN Renat-Trans are equipped with Fox powered by 4GRIP shock absorbers which are tailor made for their application.
