Monster Energy/Arctic Cats Tucker Hibbert is focused on rewriting history by winning his ninth overall Snowmobile Snocross medal with a gold medal four-peat at ESPN Winter X Games 14.
01.27.10 Goodridge, Minn. - Monster Energy/Arctic Cats Tucker Hibbert is focused on rewriting history by winning his ninth overall Snowmobile Snocross medal with a gold medal four-peat at ESPN Winter X Games 14. Hibbert will be one of four Winter X Games athletes vying for the coveted gold medal four-peat in Aspen, Colo. Jan. 28-31, 2010. After the Snocross final Sunday afternoon, the undisputed king of snocross will step out of his comfort zone to compete in the all-new Snowmobile Knock Out event.
Hibbert has been stomping the competition on the national snocross tour and hopes to carry his winning momentum into his 11th Winter X Games appearance. If he medals in the Snocross final, he will be competing for his tenth overall medal Sunday night in Knock Out. Based on the fan-favorite Moto Step Up event at the Summer X Games, Knock Out will be a combination of a height and distance jump from ramp to snow. Hibbert is the first to admit his lack of freestyle skills but thats not stopping him from competing head-to-head with five of the best freestyle athletes in the world. With his natural ability to handle a sled and top-notch set-up, he is confident he has the winning combination to capture another medal.
Watch Hibbert and his Monster Energy/Arctic Cat live Sunday on ESPN and ESPN2. Snocross qualifying begins at 12:15 p.m. EST on ESPN with the final at 3:00 p.m. EST. Knock Out will be an hour-long show Sunday night 8:30-9:30 p.m. EST on ESPN2.

Tucker Hibbert - #68 Monster Energy/Arctic Cat
I feel ready. Ive been working really hard on getting everything dialed in at the national races and am confident Im capable of getting the four-peat in snocross. I dont know what to expect for Knock Out since its never been done before. Everything that Ive heard about it and by what I can picture in my head, I think I have a really good shot of getting a medal. Its just a big unknown right now so I guess that makes me excited and nervous at the same time. Im ready for the new challenge and hope I can come out on-top.
