Luc Santos, of Oakley Utah, is one of 30 youth riders from across the country to ride in the prestigious Honda 150 Cup, being held in conjunction with the Lucas Motor Oils Natrional Outdoor Pro Series, at Pala Raceway, CA. Santos is just recovering from a double facture to his left arm, which put him out for 7 weeks, during the peak of the Outdoor Motocross series, forcing him to miss many important events including Ponca Nationals, Powder Mountain, and Western Motocross Nationals just held at the Energy Solutions Arena, in Salt Lake City. Prior to his injury Santos is the Utah Wintercross Minis Champion in 3 out of 4 classes, took 6th in the South for AMA Arenacross, 8th in the West, 19th at World Mini's National Championships, and dominating the local outdoor motocross scene. Santos has been training hard with Blake Green of Factory Kawasaki, Jaisaac Sloan, Phoenix, Az, and Thomas Covington, under the watchfull eye of Trainer and former Supercross rider Mike Craig, in Southern California.
