Round # 10 of the GNC series in Red Bud, MI
For many consecutive race weekends, Jeremy Lawson has had less than ideal starts, but he continues to ride each moto the best he can and he is steadly moving forward.
08.03.10 Another long fought 2 moto battle system, flip-flopping finishes with Wimmer for 4th overall! For many consecutive race weekends Jeremy has had less than ideal starts, but he continues to ride each moto the best he can and he is steadly moving forward.
In this weekends moto #1 Jeremy made his way around the first corner in the 7th position. Jeremy was feeling good and was one of the fastest guys on the track, he made passes on Gee, Denoble, and Wimmer, to finish the moto in 4th place.
In moto #2 Jeremy came around the first corner near 9th place, but he made some early moves and got into 6th in the first lap, behind Greg Gee. This time Jeremy followed Gee for a little while and finally made the pass for 5th place. Now his sights were set on Wimmer (4th),and Upperman (3rd). As Jeremy continued to make up time on these two riders, he ended up,getting stuck behind a lapped rider, who seemed to be purposely holding him up. The little, time that Jeremy lost behind the lapper was enough to hold him back from passing Wimmer, for the 4th position. If Jeremy could have passed Wimmer he would have finished 4th overall.
Jeremy is now only 5 points behind Thomas Brown (6th overall) and plans to take 6th after round #11
