FOX sweeps the podium at Millville ATV MX 2010
FOX Racing Shox sweeps the pro podium, 9 of the top 10 pro finishers on FOX suspension
06.17.10 The Millville ATV MX race proved to be a challenging course; this was the first time a National ATV motocross race was held there. The track was narrow and rough so naturally, the suspension played a critical part of who ended up on the podium.
Friday morning we woke up to a downpour, practice was canceled all day even though the rain let up around ten. There was still plenty of work going on at our race support trailer with riders and mechanics bringing shocks over for service.
At 4:30 on Friday we held our first suspension clinic. There was a great turn out with a lot of great questions. Going forward, we will be holding Suspension Clinics at certain events after practice on Fridays. We will post upcoming clinics online and have signs displayed at the track to let riders know.
Later in the evening, FOX hosted a BBQ dinner for our sponsored riders, team members, and media. Rick Strobel and Mark Larson manned the BBQ with some tasty bacon burgers and hot dogs on the grill, and there were plenty of stories and laughs had by all.
Saturday, the rain stayed away and the riders got their first practice on the track followed with the start of racing. The track got rougher and rougher throughout the weekend but the FOX Racing Shox equipped quads stayed at the front of the pack. At the end of the weekend we swept the podium in the Pro Class and had the top two positions in Pro Am Unlimited.
