ROCKSTAR / MGM GRAND/ U.S. OPEN SUPERCROSS LAS VEGAS, NV
The Rockstar / U.S. Open was held inside the MGM Hotel in Las Vegas over the weekend of Oct. 10th and 11th. Under the bright lights of the MGM indoor arena a few select mini moto riders were set to do battle in the 85cc Invitational. FOX Racing Shox riders Jessy Nelson, Austin Politelli, Matt Bisceglia, Chris Alldredge, Jesse Masterpool, and Michael Maze were set to do battle in front of a sell out crowd both nights. On Friday night it was FOX Shox's Austin Politelli taking over the race lead late in the final and coming in with a big win. Matt Bisceglia was fourth , Michael Maze sixth, Jessy Nelson eighth, and Chris Allgredge in ninth. On Saturday night FOX Racing Shox's Jessy Nelson was looking to improve on his Friday finish. Jessy redeemed himself with a nice win in front of the MGM crowd. Jessy was followed by FOX Shox's Austin Politelli, with Michael Maze in seventh, Matt Bisceglia in ninth, and Chris Alldredge in tenth. Austin Politelli was the overall winner in the two nights of racing followed by Jesse Nelson in fourth, Michael Maze in sixth, Matt Bisceglia in eight, and Chris Alldredge in tenth. Congratulations to all the riders who participated in the Rockstar / MGM U.S. Open.
