RIDING ADDICTION - WORLD CUP#4 - CHAMPERY
For its 2nd edition, the World Cup in Champery (Switzerland) has been up to its reputation. One of the steepest and most engaged track of the circuit, which hosted a big show throughout the weekend.On thursday, trainings began under the sun, but it did not last, in mid-afternoon, the rain began to fell down during the timed training session, and will go on until saturday for the final, making the track more and more difficult.
COMMENCAL SUPERIDERS, Myriam and Thibaut were not discouraged, on friday, Myriam created a sensation by winning the semi-final with a 17 seconds margin!
Thibaut take the 26th place despite a crash on the end of his run.
On saturday, the track has changed a lot because of the rain, the latter has decreased in intensity, made the mud more sticky throughout the day.
Women open the final, Myriam is the last rider on track, she does few mistakes and falls down on the end of her run, but manages to offer a great 3rd place to the team, and shows a new time she has her place in the world top 5.
Thibaut who had good feelings during morning trainings, doesn't achieve the run he would have wished, does a big mistake on the top and falls down on the bottom of his run, he finishes 39th.
Now, the team takes the road of Val Di Sole, Italy, for the 5th round of the World Cup. Under the rain to change?!?

Pour sa 2ème édition, la Coupe du Monde de Champéry (Suisse) n'a pas failli à sa réputation.
Une des pistes la plus raide et engagée du circuit, qui a offert un gros spectacle tout au long du week-end.
Jeudi, les entrainements ont débuté sous le soleil, mais cela n'a pas duré, en milieu d'après-midi, la pluie a commencé à tomber lors des sessions d'entrainements chronométrés, et ne cessera que samedi pour la finale, rendant la piste de plus en plus difficile.
Les COMMENCAL SUPERIDERS, Myriam et Thibaut ne se sont pas découragés pour autant, vendredi, Myriam fait sensation en remportant la demi-finale avec 17 secondes d'avance!
Thibaut prend la 26ème place malgré une chute sur la fin de son run.
Samedi, la piste a énormément changé à cause de la pluie, cette dernière ayant baissé en intensité, a rendu la boue de plus en plus collante au fil de la journée.
Les filles ouvrent la finale, Myriam est la dernière en piste, elle enchaine plusieurs erreurs et chute sur la fin de son run, mais réussi à offrir au team une superbe 3ème place, et montre une nouvelle fois qu'elle a sa place dans le top 5 mondial.
Thibaut qui avait de bonnes sensations lors des entrainements du matin, ne réalise pas le run qu'il aurait souhaité, commet une grosse faute sur le haut et chute sur la fin de son run, il termine 39ème.
Le team prend maintenant la route de Val Di Sole en Italie pour la 5ème étape de la Coupe du Monde. Sous la pluie pour changer ?!?
